The Gig

The Store Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at Frida’s retail location to ensure employees work together effectively to elevate sales and contribute to shop upkeep. Customer service and shopping experience are the most important goals of this role.

Areas of Responsibility

​

Inventory Management

• Properly track inventory in Square Retail

• Confirm all merchandise in the store is accurately labeled and priced

• Create a weekly procurement list of needed inventory, products, or supplies

​

Programs & Events

• Create, plan, and implement monthly customer events.

• Manage existing and implement new service and product programs.

​

Customer Service

• Engage and greet all customers with a focus on value-based selling. Be an active contributor in meeting daily and weekly store KPI goals

• Create and promote service standards

Requirements

​

• 3-5+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.

• Ability to work efficiently and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

• A passion for plants is a must, and a horticultural background is a plus!

• Comfortable providing clear and effective upward feedback, delegating tasks, motivating others, and getting their hands dirty!

• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in business acumen and KPIs

• Ability to maintain a positive, optimistic, empathetic attitude at all times – highly respectful of others

• Full-Time: Expected to work 32 to 40 hours per week. 

• You must be available on weekends.

• Available to work during retail blackout periods and holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.

Compensation

• $15.00 Hourly (Overtime Available), Performance-based raise at 90 Day Review
